What is EA SaaS Usage Report?

The admin who manages the system sometimes requires the list of users who have accessed the application. EA SaaS captures the user logs in the EA SaaS usage report. The records help admins to keep track of the user’s usage details of the EA SaaS application and similar information related to usage.

Why is it needed?

For administrators, it’s crucial to know when users are signing in and out. This information is recorded in audit trails, which are like activity logs. If there are issues with logging in or out, these reports help figure out what’s happening so the support team can fix them quickly with the help of these log activities.

What goes into the report?

The reports Captures the user details such as

  • Status
  • Session Start Time
  • Logout / Disconnect Time
  • Session Duration (MINS)

Session Duration (MINS)

Let’s consider a scenario where the session duration is calculated based on the start time of a session until the time the user logs out or disconnects. Typically, this is done by subtracting the logout/disconnect time from the session start time to find the session’s duration.

Here’s a simple formula to calculate session duration in minutes:

Session Duration = (Logout/Disconnect Time) – (Session Start Time)

For example, if a session started at 10:00 AM and ended at 10:30 AM, the session duration would be:

Session Duration = 10:30 AM – 10:00 AM = 30 minutes

This calculation gives you the duration of the session in minutes.
